When asphalt is mixed with recycled materials, it becomes thicker and more durable. Depending on the weather, traffic, base, or drainage, recycled asphalt can last for 3 to 5 years on heavy traffic areas. It lasts longer on normal drives.

With a semi-loose surface and dark gray color, it beautifies the curbs as it protects them. It can slick out course areas, repel some snow, and curtail dust.

Recycled asphalt is flexible to work with, too. We can have it installed over gravel or existing pavements, or we can also start from scratch. If needed, we can also add aggregate to give traction.

Recycled asphalt works best on:

  • Long Lanes
  • Farms
  • Filling Holes
  • Rock Driveways
‘’ILLINOIS PAVING resurfaced our existing and aged blacktop.  “Cousin Bill” spent time looking at the existing layout and made suggestions to improve maneuverability in the circle drive.  They were also careful to avoid our I visible fence for our dog's safety.  I highly recommend ILLINOIS PAVING!’’
